  3. Robotboy hits the U.K.

Read our first "Slow" U.K. review at www.mickmercer.com. Mick is a well respected U.K. writer who got his start with indie punk zines in 1976. Throughout the 1970's and 80's he wrote for big time Brit music mags Melody Maker and Zigzag (helping break acts like Bauhaus and Adam and the Ants) and has since published the definitive books series on Goth music and culture.

  5. A New Club in Town

If you haven't heard yet, there's a new club in San Antonio called the Limelight. It's on the St. Mary's strip in the old Strutters/Wacky's building. It's been totally redone and is super swanky now with a full bar and good music. Robotboy is playing there Saturday Feb 25 with two Austin bands; Sound Team -originally from S.A. and a really amazing '60sish rock/pop band. Also playing is the Handsome Charlies -a cool '80s styled guitar/keyboard pop band. The show starts at 10 but ya gotta be 21 to get in.
